A "Who's who" of the local corporate and legal world attended a cocktail party at Ayers House on Thursday night for the official launch of new law firm, Watsons Lawyers.

Headed up by former Normandy Mining Group Legal Counsel, Peter Watson, and Dan Hogan, the duo has more than 50 years of legal practice experience between them.

Deputy Premier and Treasurer Kevin Foley was on hand for the official proceedings. Guests included Robert de Crespigny; Bank SA managing director Rob Chapman; real estate guru Bernard Booth; Judge Jeffrey Anderson; ETSA Utilities chief executive officer Basil Scarsella; Ferrier Hodgson Partner Bruce Carter; and Equity & Advisory Chairman Stephen Young.
