Based in Adelaide, where overheads are generally lower than in other states, Watsons Lawyers is able to offer very competitive rates.

Most lawyers charge on the basis of hourly rates. Whilst we generally charge on the basis of hourly rates, we are also open to other ways of charging for our services. For instance, in circumstances where it is possible to properly scope the work, we can quote a fixed fee. We are also prepared, in appropriate cases, to risk our fees, in whole or in part, or to work at lower than usual rates with a rate mark up on successful completion of a transaction or successful business outcome for a client.

Our size and philosophy dictates that time is spent efficiently, thus keeping total costs as low as possible. All our bills are carefully considered before we render them and time based fees are reduced where the circumstances justify a reduction. We are particularly conscious of keeping faith with our clients and ensuring they remain with us.

We do not charge for telephone calls, facsimiles, photocopying and email costs which in the case of many other law firms are a significant profit centre. We regard these items as an internal cost of being in business.
