The work we have done over recent times includes:

• the takeover of Hindmarsh Resources by Mega Uranium (acting for Hindmarsh);
• the three way merger of Greenwich Resources, Buka Minerals and Danae Resources (acting for Buka) top form the London Stock Exchange listed Scarborough Resources plc;
• UraniumSA Limited's IPO and negotiation of joint venture and mineral rights agreements with tenements holders;
• specialist independent advice on the title sharing arrangement underlying Toro Energy Limited's tenement interests;
• Newmont Australia Limited's acquisition of Newcrest Limited's interest in the Boddington Gold Mine (Peter Watson been involved in legal aspects of the Boddington Gold Mine Joint Venture since acting for Normandy Mining Limited on its acquisition of 44 ¼ % interest in it in 1994);
• defence of Crosby Partners takeover bid for Marathon Resources Limited;
• aspects of the merger of Scarborough Minerals plc with Mineral Securities Limited;
• Newmont Australia Limited's disposal of the Bronzewing, Wiluna and Pajingo Mines and the progressive disposal to Regis Resources Limited of its interests in the Rosemont/Duketon region;
• Leighton Contractors acquisition of Mayfield Engineering in South Australia and ITS in Queensland and subsequent disposal of those businesses;
• IPO's of Archer Exploration Limited and Phoenix Copper Limited (the latter of which we promoted);
• prior to its administration in December 2007 advising Lafayette Mining Limited on a virtually daily basis on its ASX and Corporations Act compliance, the legal aspects of the management of the project financing of its polymetallic project on Rapu Rapu Island in the Philippines (include a number of facility extensions and increases), solvency issues and proposed rescue packages;
• advising on a great many aspects of the business and development of Gladstone Pacific Nickel Limited (an AIM and TSE listed company currently engaged in the process of obtaining finance to proceed the development of a +US$3 billion high pressure acid leach nickel project at Gladstone Queensland, including its acquisition of a nickel ore deposit at Marlborough, Queensland, contracts for the acquisition of access to nickel laterites in New Caledonia, the contracts relevant to its recently completed feasibility study, conditional contracts and terms sheets for project related contracts (such as water and power supply, port access etc) and its AIM and TSE listings.
• advising AquaSpy Group Pty Ltd in connection with the funding of the development of its business and in relation to a wide range of commercial contracts, including distribution agreements.
• FerrAus Limited's (previously NiQuest Limited) acquisition of Australian Manganese Pty Limited in Western Australia and on-going advice and assistance to FerrAus relating to ASX and Corporations Act compliance, joint venture participation, access to rail infrastructure in the Pilbara and other matters;
• a range of commercial contracting for Penfold Limited and related entities relating to metals marketing, resource industry investment, joint venture and other matters.
